10:15 A.M.: Adult Bible Study meets between the services in the sanctuary.

11:00 A.M.: Traditional worship service is our second worship service and follows Lutheran liturgies and hymns from the new Lutheran Service Book.

Summer Schedule will begin the first Sunday in July, Contemporary service at 9:00 am and Traditional service at 10:30 am.  We will return to regular schedule on Sunday, September 12.  Sunday school will be suspended during summer schedule.

Youth Chat is made up of high school students who meet in the Youth room by the kitchen for informal Christian discussion.  Youth Chat starts at 10:15 A.M. on Sunday mornings when school is in session.  Youth Chat is a place for youth to have Christian fellowship, encourage each other in the faith, and talk about topics that matter to them.

Sunday School meets every Sunday at 10:15 A.M. when regular school is in session.  Classes are offered for children in nursery through grade 8. Our Sunday school focuses on learning about Jesus and having fun at the same time!  Group singing and crafts compliment the Bible lesson for each Sunday.  When school is out for the summer, Sunday School takes a break.

“GIVEN AND SHED FOR YOU. . .FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS”

Holy  Communion  at  Christ  Lutheran  Church

As we rejoice in the resurrection victory of our Lord Jesus Christ and the new life He gives us through His redeeming life and death, we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion.  If you are a guest you may wonder whether to commune.

In 1 Corinthians 11: 26-29, God expects that the communicant knows what is involved, does not take it lightly, and examines him/her self personally for a blessed reception.  That’s why our Lutheran practice is a “closed communion”, not open to casual or ill-prepared participation.  Thus we ask those who desire to commune, including our own members, to affirm the following:

** I believe that because of my sin I am not adequate to make myself acceptable to God.

** I believe that God forgives and accepts me by His grace through Jesus Christ who died for my sins.

**I believe that in this Sacrament the risen Christ comes to me in, with and under the bread and wine, assuring me of His forgiveness.

** I want to receive this Sacrament today to renew my Baptismal relationship with Jesus Christ, to be strengthened for greater  Christ-like living, and to rededicate my life in Christian faith, hope and love.

If this is your confession and commitment, we welcome your reception with us.  If you need further clarification, assurance or have any questions, you may speak with Pastor Kuenzel or an Elder.  May your participation in this Sacrament be a blessing, as God strengthens your faith and enables you to be a blessing to others.
