Here you can see when we meet for Sunday School, and what kind of activities there are for you outside of Sunday morning.
Sunday School meets every Sunday at 10:15 A.M. when regular school is in session. Classes are offered for children in nursery through grade 8. In Sunday school you will be with other kids in your grade learning about Jesus. Your Sunday school teacher will lead you in lessons through God’s Holy Bible as well as lead you through fun crafts that help you remember what you’ve learned that day. Sunday school also has a closing where everyone meets together and sings and prays. When school is out for the summer, Sunday School takes a break too, Sunday School will be in recess from June 27 to September 5, returning to regular schedule on September 12.
If you are in grade 9 or higher Youth Chat meets up in the new Youth room (kitchen end of the basement) for informal Christian discussion. Youth Chat meets at 10:15 A.M. on Sunday mornings when school is in session. Here’s your chance to talk and ask questions about things that matter to you with friends and other youth your age. If you have been confirmed or are in high school, you are invited to join Christ’s Disciples, a group that meets twice a month for Christian Bible study followed by fellowship and games. You will have a great time and also have the opportunity to meet Christians from our other churches in town. We have gym nights at Grace Lutheran Church once a month. Vacation Bible School
Every Summer, Christ Lutheran puts on a free one week long Vacation Bible School for kids going into nursery through grade six. . Everybody has a great time, singing, praying, playing, doing crafts and of course, learning about Jesus!
VBS will be held in the mornings, Monday, August 16 – Friday, August 20th. Be sure to mark your calendars! Please see the “Coming Events” page for more information and a down-loadable registration form.
